A huge mound of garbage was dumped in the parking lot of Muncie Central High School early Thursday morning. But it was no prank. A garbage truck driver looked for a wide open space to get rid of the garbage after realizing part of it was burning.
Muncie Fire Department battalion Chief Jim Clevenger says it happens from time to time. – It’s a way to keep the expensive truck away from burning debris. The driver called for assistance and made arrangements to clean up the dumped load.
