Anderson Fire Chief Under Investigation

Police are investigating Anderson Fire Chief Phil Rogers on an allegation of battery.
Police spokesman Detective Joel Sandefur says a complaint was filed over the weekend by a woman who claimed Rogers grabbed and kissed her. Police have yet to release the complaint filed against Rogers. Anderson police have confirmed a complaint had been filed, and said a copy of the complaint would be released Tuesday. As of late Tuesday night the complaint had not been released.

Staff Relations Manager Barb Cross says she‘s among numerous Red Cross staffers nationwide on the ground and assessing the needs.
