The discovery of a meth lab in a northside motel room led to the arrest of a Randolph County man. Muncie police were sent to the Bestway Inn, on North Broadway, after emergency dispatchers received a report of meth being “cooked” in a room there.
40-year-old Bobby Lee Binion, of Losantville, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of precursors. He was being held in the Delaware County jail on Tuesday under a $45,000 bond. The Losantville man told police he had manufactured meth as many as 10 times during the two weeks he had stayed at the motel.

Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
