Columbus Day Closings For Monday

Monday is Columbus Day.
In honor of the holiday, all federal offices and state offices will be closed.
City offices in Muncie and Anderson will be open.
County offices and courts in Madison County, Delaware County offices and Yorktown Town Hall will be open Monday.
Town halls in Chesterfield and Daleville and Delaware County courts will all be closed.
Financial institutions: Check with your bank. Some will be open, others will be closed.
All license branches will be closed Saturday through Monday, reopening Tuesday.
The post office will be closed. There will be no window service or city or rural delivery.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
