Muncie RR Crossing Closed Today

Norfolk & Southern Railroad will close the Council Street crossing, between Powers and Willard streets, for rail repairs today. The crossing be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to a press release from the Muncie Street Department.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
