It’s Ball State Homecoming Week. New to the celebration this year is the Homecoming Village. It starts at 7 tonight and is located on Martin Street between Riverside and University Avenues. The Homecoming village is FREE for students and open to the community. Highlights include a zip line, live student bands, a rock wall, a 4-legged race and specials from village restaurants.

A monstrous tornado at least a half-mile wide with winds up to 200 mph ripped through the Oklahoma city of Moore Monday. Officials say the death toll is expected to rise while more than 200 are being treated at hospitals.The National Weather Service says the twister was at least an EF4.
