Gunshot Victim Dropped Off At Kokomo ER

Officers with the Kokomo Police Department were called to the St. Joseph Hospital emergency room in response to shots fired just before 4:30 Saturday afternoon. When officers arrived, they learned a 23-year-old man was dropped off to the front of the emergency room after suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say the victim suffered a wound to the leg and a laceration to his arm. The driver of the vehicle was not identified. The case remains under investigation.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
