A 15-year-old Muncie Central High School student was arrested this week after he allegedly shoved a teacher. According to a police report, a Central staff member witnessed the incident as a teacher used her arm to block the youth’s entry to a classroom after noticing that he was “sagging” or wearing his pants very low, which is against school practice. The teen then allegedly tugged at the teacher’s pants and physically knocked her arm out of the way,” warning her “not to tell him to pull up his pants.” The teen was charged with battery and taken to the Delaware County Juvenile Detention Center.
