The Muncie Community School Board has adopted the budget for 2013. The proposed budget for the district’s six funds totaled more than 74 million dollars at a tax rate of 1.86 percent. The budget will now be forwarded to the county auditor for approval before it is passed onto the state. The board also OK’d the 2013 capital projects fund plan, the bus replacement plan and the 2013 pension fund neutrality resolution.
