The National Transportation Safety Board is probing the gas pipelines that run through the Richmond Hills Subdivision. That‘s the scene of the Southside Indianapolis explosion that killed two people and injured several others late Saturday night. A Citizens Gas spokesperson says the NTSB has jurisdictional authority over pipelines and that they have already tested the gas main that runs through the area and have found no leaks. Citizen’s says they are now checking lines that run from individual homes to the gas main. It’s unclear how long the testing will take.

Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
