Muncie’s Hotel Roberts Could See New Life

After numerous false starts and failed attempts, it appears the former Roberts Hotel could see new life. An Ohio developer is about to begin construction on a $16 million project to turn the building into senior housing. Miller Valentine of Cincinnati is moving forward with the goal of turning the hotel into 83 apartment units for people 55 and older. A public notice for bids for subcontractors on the project has been released with an eye toward starting work by the end of the month.
