Authorities have identified a person of interest in connection with a bomb threat that forced the evacuation of the Madison Government Center for two hours Wednesday afternoon. Several hundred county employees and visitors to the Center were evacuated after a letter including a bomb threat was delivered to the Madison County Courts. Bomb-sniffing dogs were brought in and officials say it took several hours for the sheriff’s department to conduct a security sweep of the building. Sheriff Ron Richardson has assigned four detectives to the case who are attempting to locate and interview that person.
