Anderson Woman Arrested In Gov’t Center Bomb Threat

An Anderson woman has been arrested in connection with the Wednesday afternoon bomb threat at the Madison County Government Center. 42-year-old Cheryl R. Boyer was arrested yesterday by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department and charged with the Class D felony of false informing. Hundreds of workers and visitors were evacuated for nearly two hours and crews made a security sweep of the building.
