Head-On Crash South Of Dunkirk

Emergency crews responded yesterday to a head-on collision south of Dunkirk near the Delaware-Jay county line. The accident happened at the intersection of Delaware County Road 1100-N and Ind. 167. Officials say an SUV was northbound on Ind. 167 when it went left of the center line, striking a southbound car. Three people were transported to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie with non-life-threatening injuries.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
