Natural Gas Scare In Anderson

Another natural gas scare – this time in Anderson. An apartment building was evacuated Saturday evening as officials investigated a possible natural gas leak at Arbor Village Apartments on East 8th Street. Residents were told to seek overnight shelter as the gas was shut off to the building. A gas company crew went to the scene but was unable to find any readings of a natural gas leak inside the apartments.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
