Alexandria Golf Course Now In Limbo

The Alexandria Board of Zoning and Appeals has denied a request to use most of the former Yule Golf Course property for agriculture. Almost all of the 158-acre property, was sold to a Yorktown farmer in late October for just shy of $1 million. The new owner has the option to void the sale if the petition isn’t approved within 120 days. As for now, the 45-year-old Alexandria landmark is in limbo.
