City & County Change Insurance Coverage

The City of Muncie and Delaware County government will each spend upwards of 6 million dollars on employee health insurance in 2013. The city board of works this week approved recommendations from the city’s insurance agent, and put in place agreements for insurance for the coming year. The city’s approval follows the recent decision by the Delaware County commissioners to change their insurance coverage.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
