Defense attorneys say Terry Rutledge didn’t murder Tonia Ingram. They claim Regina Miller, a Muncie woman charged with helping Rutledge try to conceal evidence of the slaying, is the real killer. Miller is pleading the fifth and will not willingly take the witness stand in the trial. The 37-year-old Muncie woman is scheduled to stand trial March 18, on charges of assisting a criminal and obstruction of justice.

Two men are in jail on drug and theft charges in connection with the theft of trailers and motorcycles.
