A National Park Service retiree has stepped forward to claim one of Indiana’s two million dollar prizes in last Wednesday’s Powerball drawing. Pat Wilkerson of Bruceville says she is splitting the winnings with her kids. The second million dollar winner in Indiana is 34-year-old Larry Chandler of Highland. When asked what he planned to do with the money, he says he’s going to help his mom, start a college fund for his daughter and take his girlfriend to Red Lobster.

Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
