Trial Set For Woman Accused Of Burying Stillborn Child

The Union City woman accused of burying her stillborn child outside her apartment building has received a March 11 trial date in Randolph Circuit Court. A grand jury last month indicted 28-year-old Ana G. Monjes on charges including neglect of a dependent.
The neglect charge is a Class A felony carrying a standard 30-year prison term.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
