“Moving Truck Parents” Out Of Jail

The parents who were arrested in Henry County last week after their children were found riding in the back of a rental moving truck are out of jail and awaiting a hearing on their children’s status. David and Rebecca Detjen were released from jail after a man from Texas who heard of their ordeal posted the 20-thousand dollars bond on the pair. Many people around the country have offered funds to help the family.

Staff Relations Manager Barb Cross says she‘s among numerous Red Cross staffers nationwide on the ground and assessing the needs.
