“A day that will live in infamy…” Those famous words were uttered on this day 71 years ago when Japanese forces attacked the military installation at Pearl Harbor killing more than 2400 U.S. soldiers, injuring half as many more and effectively crippling the U.S. Naval fleet. The United States officially entered World War Two the following day.
