Change Of Judge In Ball State Lawsuit

Delaware Circuit Court 5 Judge Thomas Cannon Jr. has accepted appointment as special judge in Ball State University’s eminent domain lawsuit to acquire the Hiatt Printing building. Ball State wants the property at 506 North McKinley Avenue for construction of McKinley Commons, a $25-million hotel, dormitory and conference center. Attorneys representing the Hiatt family asked for a change of judge because of Judge Marianne Vorhees ties to Ball State.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
