Muncie Focusing On Sidewalk Repair

Muncie officials have given their blessing to the latest round of sidewalk repairs. The city board of works awarded contracts for sidewalk projects that are, for the most part, downtown or in near-downtown areas. The city is targeting curbs and sidewalks in need of repair, but is also installing Americans with Disabilities compliant sidewalk ramps at many corners around the city.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
