Starting Monday – and continuing until the end of the year – INDOT will restrict lanes at moving work sites along Indiana 109. Crews plan to crack seal the north-south highway from Interstate 69/Ind. 9 to Ind. 234. Workers will be in the roadway every weekday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. INDOT you to be alert, drive with caution and reduce speeds when approaching maintenance crews on the highway.

Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
