INDOT Hearing Thursday For SR 26 Rebuilding In Portland

INDOT is holding a public hearing tomorrow evening to present preliminary plans and hear comments from residents and businesses about proposed reconstruction of State Road 26 through Portland. The hearing will be held at 6 p.m. at the East Jay Middle School. INDOT want to hear your opinions before further design plans are developed.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
