Montpelier Man Tries To Grab Officer’s Gun

A Montpelier man has been accused of trying to grab a police officer’s gun during a disturbance at a local hospital. Officials say 32-year-old Zachery G. Mahorney is charged with disarming a law enforcement officer, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct after an incident in the hospital’s emergency room. An initial hearing in the case is set for Jan. 3 in Delaware Circuit Court 3.
