A Bank Robber’s Heartbreaking Excuse

Police say a man who robbed a bank in Richmond told the teller he needed money because his mother was dying of cancer. A U.S. Bank branch was robbed about 2 p.m. Tuesday when the man told the teller he had a gun. Police say no weapon was seen. The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
