Collision Kills Fortville Man Near Pendleton

A collision near the Madison-Hancock County border claimed the life of a Fortville man yesterday/Thursday afternoon. 19-year-old Logan R. Stafford was killed when his vehicle hit a state highway safety truck at an intersection on State Road 9 near Pendleton. Witnesses say it appeared that Stafford a stop sign.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
