The swearing-in of Angela Warner Sims as Judge of the Madison County Circuit Court will take place at 2:00 p.m. today in the Commissioner’s Courtroom at the Madison County Government Center. Sims is the first woman to sit on the bench in Madison County. She is a lifelong resident of Anderson and earned her law degree from Indiana University School of Law in 1999. Governor Mitch Daniels named Sims to the court following the appointment of Judge Rudolph R. Pyle III to the Indiana Court of Appeals.
