MCS Will Not Go To Balanced Calender Next School Year

Muncie Community Schools will not switch to a balanced calendar next school year.
However, area superintendents will gather in August to discuss switching to the calendar, which is used by districts in Indianapolis and New Castle. MCS Supt. Tim Heller says the superintendents wanted time to get feedback from the other districts already using the calendar before meeting to discuss if and when it will happen here.
