Indiana residents can register online for a variety of events associated with the inauguration of Governor-elect Mike Pence. The Pence family will host a Family Fun Day January 12th from 11am to 2pm in Speedway followed by the Inaugural Ball & Dance that evening. A worship and praise service will be held January 13th at the Indiana Convention Center. The inauguration ceremony will be Monday, January 14th at the statehouse. All events except for the ball and dance are free but registration is required at indianaworks.eventbrite.com.

Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
