Shooting Victim Arrested For Outstanding Warrants

A Chesterfield woman who had been shot didn’t immediately report the shooting because there was a warrant out for her arrest. 21-year-old Daisy Fletcher was arrested after receiving treatment for a gunshot wound she received in the 1200 block of West 10th Street in Anderson. Fletcher initially gave police and doctors a fake name – once she revealed her true name, police found an outstanding warrant for felony forgery and failure to appear. Fletcher’s shooter is still being sought. Police say the case remains under investigation.
