Anderson Exchange Student Could Face Deportation

An Anderson teen charged with child molestation and rape could face immigration court and possible deportation if convicted. 17-year-old Victor M. Perez would need to serve a sentence first, if convicted, before heading to immigration court. Perez, a non-citizen from Guatemala, is being charged as an adult for the crimes. Perez was an exchange student in Anderson that has been with his host family since April.
