Montpelier Man Charged With Ghost Employment

A Montpelier man who took care of personal business while being paid to work for the Montpelier Street Department was sentenced yesterday. 31-year-old Dustin A. McPherson was originally charged with three counts of ghost employment, but a plea agreement reduced the three-year sentence to 180 days on electronic home detention.
