Carson Appointed To Armed Services Committee

Indiana Congressman André Carson will serve on the House Armed Services Committee. Carson‘s appointment was announced yesterday by Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi. The Armed Services Committee oversees defense policy, ongoing military operations, the organization and reform of the Department of Defense and Department of Energy and counter-drug programs.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
