Council Votes To Vacate Streets And Alleys

A public hearing was held last night before the Hartford City common council meeting. The hearing focused on a request from Petoskey Plastics to vacate some streets and alleys adjoining the property. Four city residents expressed concerns; however, those were quickly alleviated. The council voted to approve the ordinance with an amendment to exclude an alley used by another business.
