Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler will resume his “Five Minutes with the Mayor” program, from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. This is an opportunity for Muncie citizens to meet with Tyler one-on-one to share good news, voice concerns or ask questions. No appointment is necessary, but if you need to schedule a specific time, call the mayor’s office.

Marion Man Drowns In Salimonie Lake Reservoir
18.06.13An 18-year-old Marion man has drowned at the beach area of a state-run park. Witnesses say Jordan Laute of Marion began having trouble after he swam past the roped barrier into deep water at Salamonie Lake Reservoir. Conservation officers using a sonar device found Laute in 9 feet of water nearly three hours later.
Henry County Woman Trampled By Horses
18.06.13The wife of a horse-farm owner was injured early yesterday afternoon after she was trampled. The incident was reported around 12:45 p.m. at Stoney Creek Horse Farm in Henry County.
