MCS Swears In Two Board Members

Two members of the Muncie Community School Board were sworn in yesterday during a meeting at Maring-Hunt Library. Sworn in were Michael Long, former board president, and Debbie Feick, a newcomer. The board also elected its officers for 2013. Beverly Kelley was elected president, vice president Tony Costello and Robert Warner was named the board’s secretary.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
