DelCo Residents Ask For Help With Heating Bills

Delaware County residents are flocking to the local heat assistance program office. The number of people seeking assistance with their heating bills this year is close to exceeding the number of people who received help all last year from the Interlocal Community Action Program. ICAP employees attribute the higher numbers to a harsher winter than last year, and more people finding out about the help program.

Staff Relations Manager Barb Cross says she‘s among numerous Red Cross staffers nationwide on the ground and assessing the needs.
