Muncie police took three persons into custody Thursday after a near “hour long” stand-off at Second and Vine Streets. Police were called to the area on a report of a fight. When they arrived, an officer witnessed one male fire a handgun into the air. Police chased three individuals to a house on South Vine where it wasn’t until nearly an hour later, that the three came out with their hands up. The standoff concluded without further incident. No one was injured by the shots fired, and no one was held against their will in the home.
