Flu Worries Spark New Visitor Restrictions At IUBMH

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie has announced that beginning Friday, it will implement temporary visitation restrictions. In order to protect everyone from potential exposure to influenza: Only adults may visit patients, no visitors who have flu-like symptoms will be allowed anywhere at the hospital and if people are at the hospital to be treated for flu-like symptoms, they will be asked to wear a surgical or isolation mask.
Other Indiana hospitals have announced similar decisions.
