Hearing Friday For Marion Man Accused Of Murder

An initial hearing will be held Friday in Grant Circuit Court for a 27-year-old Marion man charged with murder and kidnapping. Zachary Allen Thien was arrested Saturday in Butler County, Ohio and charged in the shooting death 23-year-old Megan Elaine Chipman of Montpelier. Described as a former boyfriend of the victim, authorities believe he killed Chipman along Ind. 18 in Marion.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
