Madison County To Consider Vote Centers

Madison County election officials are exploring the possibility of switching over from traditional polling places to new vote centers. Those centers allow any eligible voter to cast a ballot at any vote center in the county. Cost and flexibility are the main reasons behind the move. The County Election Board will hold a public discussion of the centers on Feb. 19 at the Madison County Government Center.

Staff Relations Manager Barb Cross says she‘s among numerous Red Cross staffers nationwide on the ground and assessing the needs.
