Gov. Mike Pence used his first State of the State address to make a fresh case for his plan to lower the state’s individual income tax rate. He also urged lawmakers to revisit the private school voucher program that they launched just two years ago. Pence says they should scratch some of the requirements to access it, and he made his case for across-the-board school choice.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
