To cope with this blast of Arctic air, you may be turning to alternative heating methods to help warm your home. The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office warns you to NEVER use an oven or stove to heat your home. If using a space heater, keep flammable materials at least three feet away. And NEVER plug your space heater into an extension cord.
