Indiana’s First Lady To Recuperate Over The Weekend

First Lady Karen Pence is resting at home this morning after having emergency surgery yesterday to remove her gall bladder. The governor‘s office says Mrs. Pence went to the emergency room with abdominal pain, and physicians there advised her to have the surgery. The governor‘s statement says she will recuperate through the weekend and is expected to resume her normal schedule next week.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
