A high-speed chase that began in Marion ended badly at the intersection of Indiana 9 and 28 on Monday when the driver wanted by authorities crashed her car into a propane gas delivery truck. Authorities say Bobbie Sue Frazier of Alexandria was wanted by Marion police on suspicion of shoplifting. Frazier led police on a chase through the city before turning onto Ind. 9 and heading south toward Alexandria. She was eventually slowed down by the use of “stop sticks”, however, she didn’t stop until she collided with a propane truck. She faces numerous charges.

Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
