Low Water Pressure Closes School

Low water pressure was the reason for the closing of Yorktown High School yesterday.According to Jennifer McCormick, superintendent of Yorktown Community Schools, water pressure dropped “really low” at about 7:30 a.m. yesterday morning. Crews worked through the day to find the cause. The elementary and middle schools were not affected.
