Update On Tuesday’s Madison County Homicide

A preliminary autopsy showed the victim in yesterday’s Madison County shooting died of multiple gunshot wounds – that’s according to Madison County Coroner Marian L. Dunnichay. She identified the victim as 22-year-old Spencer Smith. A suspect in the shooting, 45-year-old Malcolm Douglas Cobb, of rural Anderson, is being held without bond at the Madison County Jail. Sheriff Ron Richardson says it appears the two men knew each other. The investigation is ongoing.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
